First off….. QuickStartOnlineServices.com is the place to start for everything BPOS/Microsoft Partner related, and I encourage you to check it out. When you do, you will be able to download the Office 365 Partner Overview Deck.
Lots of great information in that deck, but it specifically calls out the different plans you can offer to your SMB and Enterprise customers:
SMB:
Enterprise:
Kiosk/Deskless Workers:
While it’s important to note that there is a distinction between the SMB and Enterprise Office 365 Plans, we do want to make sure you offer the RIGHT plan to your customers. Even though they may only have 10 PC’s, the E Plans may be a better fit.
You will also notice that the current/in-market $10-per-month BPOS offering translates to the $10-per-month Office 365 E1 plan. While Office 365 is still in Beta it is important that you still convey the value of BPOS to your customers today! In most cases, if BPOS is a good fit for them, there is no reason to delay that deployment….. Once Office 365 is generally available they will be able to migrate over from BPOS…. and continue to budget $10-per-month/per-user! Try forecasting migration/upgrade costs of an on-premise solution like that
